Welcome to APSCI 2025!

We are delighted to welcome you to the 15th Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences (APSCI 2025), to be held in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This year we are themed "Harmonising Horizons: Hearing for All" that conveys a powerful message of unity, progress, and inclusivity. By working together and embracing future possibilities, we can make significant strides in ensuring that everyone has access to the benefits of improved hearing. It reflects a commitment to advancing the field in a way that is inclusive and beneficial for all individuals affected by hearing loss.

This theme highlights the symposium’s dedication to collaborative efforts in research and development, fostering connections among professionals, and striving towards a future where hearing solutions are accessible to every individual in need. This landmark event will take place at the prestigious Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur from November 13th to 15th, 2025, with a pre-congress session on November 12th, 2025.

For the first time, APSCI will be hosted in Malaysia, a testament to our commitment to bringing together the brightest minds and most innovative ideas from across the Asia Pacific region. This year, we are proud to run APSCI 2025 concurrently with the ASEAN Skullbase Society Conference, where critical discussions on hearing, otological disorders, and skull base surgeries will take place.

Our program is designed to inspire and educate. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from prominent leaders in the field through keynote addresses, participate in dynamic plenary sessions, and engage in specialized symposiums. In a ground-breaking addition to our agenda, APSCI 2025 will feature live dissections, offering an unparalleled learning experience.

Malaysia is a country of rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality. While you are here, we encourage you to explore the many attractions Kuala Lumpur has to offer. From the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and the bustling markets of Bukit Bintang to the serene beauty of the Batu Caves and the historical charm of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, there is something for everyone. Don't miss the chance to experience Malaysia's diverse cuisine, renowned for its unique blend of flavours and influences.

We are committed to making APSCI 2025 accessible to all who wish to attend. To support this, we have lowered registration fees for participants from developing nations and trainees. This inclusive approach reflects our dedication to nurturing the next generation of otology implant experts and ensuring that knowledge knows no boundaries.

Mark your calendars and make plans to join us in Kuala Lumpur for APSCI 2025. Together, we will explore the frontiers of otology implant research, forge valuable connections, and embark on a memorable journey through the heart of Malaysia.

Let’s make APSCI 2025 an event to remember. We look forward to welcoming you to Kuala Lumpur!
