Jia Chuan Lim Malaysia

Lim Jia Chuan is a Speech-Language Therapist and certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (2022) with over 15 years of experience in the field of communication and early intervention. She currently serves as a Rehabilitation Manager at MED-EL Malaysia, where she works closely with children with hearing loss and their families, supporting them in developing listening and spoken language through evidence-based approaches. Jia Chuan is passionate about family-centred care and multidisciplinary collaboration, especially in the area of hearing implant rehabilitation. She is also a certified Hanen therapist and has a special interest in supporting young children and their caregivers through parent coaching and practical communication strategies. She actively contributes to the Malaysian Association of Speech and Hearing (MASH), where she leads the Audiology and Aural Rehabilitation Special Interest Group and serves as Head of Student Affairs. Jia Chuan regularly shares her experience through workshops and professional development sessions across Malaysia and the Southeast Asian region. She is committed to advancing inclusive practices and supporting professionals working with children who use hearing technology.
