Dr. Carren Teh Sui Lin is a highly skilled ORL-HNS specialist with over two decades of experience in the medical field. She graduated with an MBBS from the University of Malaya in 2003 and earned her Master’s in ORL-HNS in 2011. From 2011 to 2025, she served at Hospital Sungai Buloh, where she held various clinical and leadership roles, including Head of the Department of ORL-HNS from 2024 to 2025.
In 2025, Dr. Carren was appointed Director of the Institute for Clinical Research (ICR), where she leads initiatives to advance clinical excellence and medical research in Malaysia. Despite her administrative responsibilities, she remains deeply committed to patient care and continues to run specialist clinics twice a week at Hospital Sungai Buloh.
In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Carren is a lecturer at Taylor’s Medical University and supervises numerous Master's students, contributing actively to medical education and training. She holds a Diploma in Vestibular Medicine and completed her Ph.D. in 2023, with a research focus on Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD).
Dr. Carren has also played key roles in professional societies. She served as Honorary Secretary of the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (MSOHNS) for the terms 2019–2020 and 2021–2022, and as Honorary Secretary of ENDOKL in 2024. She currently serves as Deputy Secretary of APSCI 2025.
