Noor Dina Hashim Malaysia

Dr. Noor Dina Hashim is a Specialist and Lecturer in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She obtained her Master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery from UKM in 2013, and subsequently commenced subspecialty training in Otology and Neurotology in 2015. Her clinical and academic work has since focused on the management of temporal bone diseases and the use of hearing implants. She has developed a keen interest in minimally invasive techniques, particularly endoscopic ear surgery, within the domains of otology and lateral skull base surgery. In March 2020, she completed an international clinical fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, and Lateral Skull Base Surgery under the mentorship of Professor In Seok Moon at Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Noor Dina plays an active role in several multidisciplinary programs at UKM, including the Cochlear Implant Program, Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program, and the Cleft Lip and Palate Team. Her primary research interests include middle ear ventilation and its clinical applications, alongside a broader interest in hearing loss and auditory rehabilitation. She has presented her research at numerous national and international scientific conferences and has published in various peer-reviewed local and international journals. Her ongoing contributions reflect a strong commitment to advancing clinical practice, education, and research in the fields of Otology and Neurotology.
