Kenichi Takano Japan

I am a professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Sapporo Medical University. I graduated with a M.D. degree from Sapporo Medical University in 2001 and obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2006. My major work is focused on otologic surgery and inner ear cell biology. I am trying to construct the teleauditory network system in Hokkaido (popular with the tourists from Asian). Our Hokkaido is a large island that occupies approximately one-fourth of the land area of Japan, and hence, managing the procedure is more difficult. I believe that the teleauditory system can improve the quality of service, especially for adult CI users and/or parents/guardians of pediatric CI users, and can save substantial time and costs.
