Pey-Yu Chen is an otolaryngologist specializing in otology. She earned her medical degree from the School of Medicine, Chang Gung University and completed her residency in Otolaryngology at National Taiwan University Hospital.
She then served as an attending physician at National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch before joining Mackay Memorial Hospital, where she has been practicing since 2019. In addition to her clinical role, she is actively involved in academia and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at Mackay Medical College.
Her research focuses on tinnitus, hearing loss, and cochlear implantation. She is currently developing predictive models for common hearing disorders, including hereditary hearing loss, idiopathic sensorineural hearing loss, and tinnitus
