Carrie Nieman MD, MPH is an Associate Professor in the Division of Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery in the Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She is Core Faculty at the Johns Hopkins Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health within the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a member of the World Hearing Forum, which is a global network of stakeholders promoting ear and hearing care worldwide. Her research is directed at understanding and addressing hearing health disparities among older adults through the development and implementation of public health-driven approaches to affordable, accessible hearing care.
