Kenneth H. Lee, M.D., Ph.D. is a Pediatric Otologist and Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas, USA where he holds the John W. & Rhonda K. Pate Endowed Professorship. He is the Chief of Specialty Surgery and the Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children’s Healthy Plano and the Director of the UT Pediatric Cochlear Implant Program at Children’s Health Dallas. He also serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Qualia Oto Inc. where a novel self-coiling cochlear implant electrode array, along with other technologies related to hearing loss treatment are being developed. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Cochlear Implant Alliance. His practice is focused on otology in children and research interests lie in advancing the treatment of hearing loss. He received his A.B. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, his M.D. and a Ph.D. in Neurobiology at Boston University School of Medicine, Post Doctoral Research training at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, and fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He has been on faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center since the completion of his formal training in 2007.
