My name is Jae Ho Chung, and I am currently serving as a professor of otolaryngology at Hanyang University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. I completed my M.D., M.S., and Ph.D. at the same institution, where I have remained deeply engaged in clinical research and education in the field of otology.
My primary focus lies in the diagnosis and treatment of middle ear diseases, auditory rehabilitation, and auditory neuroscience. I am particularly interested in integrating technology and data science into clinical practice. This has led me to conduct population-based research using the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) data of Korea, exploring trends and outcomes in hearing-related conditions.
Beyond big data analytics, I am actively involved in the development of digital therapeutics and the application of artificial intelligence in otolaryngology. My recent work includes exploring auditory brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and designing intelligent systems to support diagnosis and rehabilitation in patients with hearing loss.
I am passionate about bridging clinical otology with emerging digital technologies, and I believe that interdisciplinary collaboration is key to advancing patient-centered care and innovation in the field.
